If you follow me on social media you already know I will be working at The BagSmith booth tomorrow πŸ’ƒ and today was setup day. The preparation before the party day, the build shelves and unpack boxes day and what a day it was.

I think I told you all about my subway phobia, πŸ‘€ well how about it was only one stop on the train I was accustomed to taking. Woot woot! The hotel sits smack in the middle of time square and after asking the kind police officers which way to go, I found it in no time. I ran into Sharon from Knitting Abacus, I will be in her booth on Sunday.
I walk into the hotel and this is the first thing I see

I wanted to start singing 🎀 lets get it started, in here🎀 lol

I found Mom Jeanne and then we all had lunch. We got the truck unpacked and got busy. It was such an experience to see folks building there booths to perfection. I mean I have a new found respect as I watched this

This Teepee..omg, she said it was 1,000 squares that took 600 hours to put together. Ahmazing!!!!

As I stated before I was there to work, to help set up, yea, but why folks wanna have yarn all up in my face? How am I, a confessed YarnHo, supposed to focus? Huh? Tell me how? Becca kept “GG did you see this” and here go me πŸ˜±πŸ˜³πŸ™ˆπŸ‘€

I know what yarn heaven looks like, yup, I went today and I took pics, look…

I met a designer that I adore, Terri Hampton-Rosenthal. When I saw her, I was all ready to introduce myself and she said “I’d know that hair any where” and gave me the biggest hug ☺️ I love my fiber friends.

All of this and it’s not live yet! We finished up and here comes Becca “GG, try this on” and here go me “why, sure!”

Are you coming! Please stop by the BagSmith on Friday and say hi. The doors open at 5pm. Hope to see you there
